The Publishing Process
We require that all prospect authors have their manuscript 100% complete before applying for publishing services.
WE DO NOT ACCEPT INCOMPLETE MANUSCRIPTS. If your manuscript is 100% complete, then you are eligible to submit your application. If you need assistance with typing your manuscript or if you need transcription services please contact us for more information and pricing.
After completing your application you will be contacted & scheduled for a consultation to discuss your project and your project goals. During this time you will be asked to submit the first 3 pages ONLY of your manuscript. After our team reviews your submission, we will determine if your story is ready for publishing. The review process takes 3 to 5 business days. We carefully analyze the content you have provided and determine whether it meets our criteria for publication. If we feel that your project has potential, we will then ask for a full manuscript, which will undergo a thorough evaluation with our team of editors.
If it has been determined that you are eligible to publish with our company, we will send you an email offering you the opportunity to publish with CoolBird Publishing House. We will also request your full manuscript along with a non refundable start up investment of $250 which will be invoiced. The $250 nonrefundable investment covers the full review of your manuscript. During our full review we will provide feed back and if needed, we will ask questions for clarity. Upon receiving your full manuscript we will provide you with a quote and a payment plan. (Our payment plans extend from 3 to 6 months.) During this time some authors opt to pay their project in full. Please note that we will conduct 3 convenient online training classes to help you during your journey of becoming a published author.
Once your manuscript has been accepted, our team will work closely with you to develop a comprehensive marketing plan designed to maximize sales and exposure. We are a full service publishing company which means we can create an entire marketing campaign, build your website so that sales streamline directly to your website, create you a logo and arrange to have you interviewed on several platforms. If becoming a speaker, trainer/facility leader is your career track, we can help you structure a business map.
Throughout the process, we will work collaboratively with you, providing regular feedback until the final product is complete.

Pricing
Each project is unique and the pricing is based on a number of factors such as word count, format selection color to name a few. However, each project does start with a $250 non refundable investment that covers the review and feed back of your manuscript. This fee can be made in one or two payments.
