Our History

CoolBird Studios was established in 2013, in the living room of Taminko J. Kelley's Goodwater, AL home after being told she was being laid off without warning at her corporate job.  When CoolBird was first launched, the business initially began focusing on marketing, editing, and proofreading services. In 2015, we expanded our offerings with the launch of CoolBird Publishing House, providing full service publishing solutions. By 2021, we opened a brick-and-mortar business incubator and introduced the Bloom Program, an ecosystem designed to support new entrepreneurs with classes and office space. In 2022, we diversified our services to include brand development, photography, and professional makeovers, empowering entrepreneurs to enhance their social and professional presence. As of 2024, we have shifted our focus to developing authors and speakers by creating a credible platform for them to inspire others. In 2025 we introduced our Podcast,  "The Assignment, our qtly magazine and stage play productions.
