Our Story

Founded in 2013, Taminko J. Kelley, the CEO of CoolBird Studios started her company in the front room of her home one year after being told to leave her corporate position. With over 20 years of business management experience and an MBA in Business Administration she was led to start her own business. The question posed was, "Lord, what are you going to do with me?" While sitting on the ground in her back yard she heard a faint voice say, "All those things you did for your glory now take what you have learned and use it for my glory". The company started as a business development firm that created business plans and strategy maps for new entrepreneurs. During that time she also provided professional writing (content and copywriting), proofreading, photography, video production, VoiceOver and professional looks from hair and makeup to wardrobe.
In 2016, we added our sister company, CoolBird Publishing House which provides full service publishing and since then we have produced over 50 successful authors. In 2021, we moved into our first brick and mortar and launched a conglomerate which included a business incubator. The business incubator held a 12-week program that was used to guide and teach new budding entrepreneurs how to successfully launch a business and provided office space for those who completed the program. In 2023, our sister company, CoolBird Publishing House launched a 100 Books Published in 2023 campaign. It was a successful launch that gained 29 new authors in one year! The campaign will continue to reach it's goal.
As we began to grow in publishing we decided to utilize all of our skills to help properly position our authors. Needless to say the CEO is a lover of all things art and decided to add Artists and Entertainers to her client profile. Now we have a specialized approach to help our clients reach apogee in the marketplace. The growth of CoolBird Studios has brought in new talent with expert knowledge to help us catapult our clients towards their destiny.
