Chief Frederick Charles Shelton (Retired) is a 3x author, speaker, trainer and results coach. He is a member of the John Maxwell Leadership Team. Chief Shelton has dedicated himself to developing and training leaders at all levels.

Dr. Ruffin was born in Clanton, AL and raised in Birmingham, AL. She graduated from Woodlawn High School in 1997 with advanced honors. She continued her education at Stillman College in Tuscaloosa, AL, graduating summa cum laude with a B.S. degree in Biology with a concentration in pre-medicine. She furthered her education at the University of South Alabama College of Medicine from 2001-2006 and completed her pediatric training at Florida State College of Medicine in Pensacola, FL, where she also served as Chief Resident.
